bpas Resource Centre Terms and Conditions 1 General: 1.1 Charges and Delivery Providing information and advice is an integral part of bpas’ charitable objectives. For this reason bpas has chosen (at this time), not to charge for any of the information resources on offer, or to pass on the delivery costs associated with the supply of information hard copies. We use the information to manage orders, deliver products and services, and communicate with you about orders, products, and services. We will never sell or pass on your details to a third party unless we are required by law to do so Under the UK Data Protection Act 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product or service which is accepted by us when we send the requested products. 3.7.2 Customs When ordering goods from bpas resource centre for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from bpas resource centre, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. 3.7.3 Electronic communications When you visit bpas resource centre or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically.
